Well both movies are coming to a wrap. The Rookie is being rendered as I type for a full web streaming test. However it took 18 hours to render the first pass, and there’s one more pass to go. So that’s probably going to take another 16+ hours. Vampire Slayers has all the music laid down and we’re half way done with adjusting the levels of the sound effects and dialogue. The last couple of days have been pretty grueling, but we’re getting it done. Slayers looks a lot better now that all the elements have come together. It looks a lot better than New Breed’s last movie, but still has a lot of things that could have been done better. But the whole process has been a learning experience. Which brings us to The Rookie. This movie is 10 times better than slayers and it only took us 14 days to do it, start to finish; and didn’t cost us anything but our own lunches. There were a few things we still missed but each movie gets better and better, and what we learn from each movie we bring to the next one to make it that much sweeter of a flick. It only gets better from here.
