Crown King

Started Logging and capturing footage today. Should take me 3-4 days to get it all dumped into the computer. Once I have it in I’ll start cutting the trailer. As I said before, the footage looks awesome.

Music Video

Finished editing the hip hop video today. I should be able to finish up all the special effects tomorrow and have a final render tomorrow night. Once that is all done I will be able to start logging and capturing the movie footage. Can’t wait to start that.

The Legend of Crown King

That is the name of our next flick and we just got back from filming the whole thing. 6 days on the mountain. 6 days of rain. 6 days of production. 6 days of fun. The scenery was incredible, the cast/crew was awesome, and the movie is going to be unbelievable. Everything we shot looked great. The folks up in the Crown King were very nice and friendly and let us pretty much go where we pleased. We re-wrote the script a bit once we got up there due to the weather, but it turned out for the good. We shot a behind the scenes camera the entire trip so we have the whole thing documented; which will make for a great movie in itself. I have a lot of photos to go through and sort but once I do links will be posted. As for what’s next, we will make the poster and cut the trailer and have both of those up by the end of next week. Check back for updates on the photos, the trailer, behind the scenes clips, and the progress on the final edit.

Day 01 of Production

Ok. I just got home from a 14 hour day. We began production on “Stranger in the Woods”. Not too crazy about the title but we can work on that. It’s being shot in Crown King, AZ about 45 mins North of Phoenix; then another hour and half up the mountain. We’ll be up there for the next 4 days camping up there so should be a blast. As for day 01; we forgot a few things that we really need for the rest of the shoot, hence the reason I came home. The shots were frickin unbelievable. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. And the actors did a great job. My little brother was the first to go today and he did a lot of running and rolling around. He’s a little sore but it was well worth it he said. I really need to get to bed since we have another call time of 8:00 and it takes 2 hours to get up to the camp ground. I’ll post photos from behind the scenes when I get back, but until then you can check out my Moblog for pix from my phone. This is going to be good one.

What is up….

Well a lot of stuff has happened in the last few weeks. We shot the teaser for “The Pack” and decided not to use it. It just didn’t turn out like we wanted it to. We have gone up to Crown King twice now and have laid out the whole movie to be shot up there. First it was going to be a man doing the killing, then it was going to be the “the pack” of dog/men, then back to a group of men, and now it has been decided that it is one half man half beast. We begin shooting the 2nd week of August. Script is done and the story boards are being drawn out today and tomorrow. Should be pretty sweet. Stay tuned for photos and footage from behind the scenes.

In other news: I am finishing up the last of my wedding videos and will be able to move on and start working on that music video. Been looking forward to that. After that hopefully I will be able to get back to writing my script. Also I have a new site design in the works and a new logo.
