People have been asking where they can find some of my work. Up until now just my most recent stuff has been posted and you have to scroll down and find the post. I have added a “My Work” link under “site nav”. It’s a temporary page with just the most recent stuff until I build the permanent one with all my work on it. The new one will have a comments section under it for you to leave your thought on each piece. Until then, enjoy.

Got back from LA this morning at around 1 am. It was a 23 hour day but very worth it. We had two meetings and both went extremely well. One was with a producer, Jack Harris with his lovely wife Judith Parker Harris, and the other was with our sales rep Scott Simmons of SPG Homevideo.
The coolest part about LA is almost everyone there is there for the entertainment business. We were at Starbucks and everyone either was talking about a movie, had a script in hand, was writing a script, or was actually cutting something on a laptop. It was so cool. But we got the info we needed and it’s time to get down to business.

Another weekend up on the mountain. We were there all weekend and re-shot the ending fight scene, the fight right before the ending, and a scene that was improved the first time we shot it. All three came out better than the first ones we shot. Production photos will be up by the end of the week. We’ll be in LA the next day or two to talk to our sales rep. Hopefully we’ll come back with good news.

Well we made the long trip back up the mountain today and began the second half of shooting. We shot out Kathleen and Hollywood as well as a quick shot of Kory right before his demise. Then after lunch went back up to our original camp site to shoot some more running with Chris and a new stunt that we wrote in to replace one that didn’t turn out as well as we expected it to. We go back up on Saturday and Sunday to shoot our opening and then again next weekend with Courtney to shoot our ending. Then hopefully we’ll be done with production. But you never know. Pre-Production has been an ongoing process and you never know when something might just pop up on us and have to go back up and shoot something else. We shot lots more photos and behind the scenes footage so those should be up soon. Big thanks to Don “Hollywood” Yates and Kathleen Benner for coming out and doing a great job for us. Always a pleasure to work with such professionals.

Chris returns from Texas today and we will begin to finalize the script and shot list for our second trip to Crown King. I have finished capturing the behind the scenes footage and started cutting it. We will return to Crown King in a week and be up there for 6 days or so to shoot the rest of the movie. Lot’s more photos and behind the scenes footage to come. Stay tuned for some footage to be posted and a new look for idoitdigital.com
