Well we went back up the mtn one last time to re-kill Travis and re-shoot Kory’s dialogue at the saloon. Photos of Travis are posted in the Production Gallery. I have edited the whole thing and we are at 69 mins. With what we shot this weekend we’ll hit our 74 min mark with no problem. I’m capturing the footage now and will have it in the timeline in the morning. The composer will have it by Wednesday to start on the music and we should have a finished product in about 3 weeks. We’re coming to the end folks. Can you feel the excitement?

We are entering day 09 of production, day 03 at CJ’s Film Studios. So far we are about a day behind. Scenes have been scheduled too tight and setups are taking too long. Over all our actors are great, the script is good, and out locations are nice. More photos from the set have been uploaded to the Production Gallery for your viewing pleasure. Also be sure to check out all the videos at clintcomer.textamerica.com

Our composer Steve has written music for our teaser. Now we can actually do something with it since he/we own the rights to the music. Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think.

We started production on a new horror movie this week. Now it’s not one of our movies, we’re just working on it for another set of guys. I will be the lead camera operator and editor on the film. Russell, Chris, and Kory are helping with other aspects of the production like on set photos, behind the scenes video, setting up lights, and moving equipment. All three will also have acting roles in the movie. These three guys are truly independent film makers; they do everything. On one film they may be grips and PA’s but on the next one they may be Director, Producer, and Special Effects Wizard. We have a great team so far and now with Steve Ouimette as our composer, it only gets better from here.
The Whistler is a 14 day production for the next two weeks, so stay tuned for updates and photos.
