We’re back from LA and man, what a trip. We were there for a week and it was jammed pack with meetings. We met tons of great people and got lots of great feed back. While we were there we passed out 10 copies of the film and had 3 different screening of it. The general consensus was the same: production value was incredible, the music was great; however it was all shot during the day and the acting wasn’t that good. Both of which could have been solved with money. We couldn’t afford a generator and a grip truck to shoot scenes at night and we couldn’t afford to pay for actors. That’s what happens when an investor backs out at the last minute. But we have been told by multiple people that it is sellable, so that’s good. As for Vampire Slayers, everyone that is looking at it says that it doesn’t fit into horror and that it’s more of an action/comedy. With that being said we are changing the name back to it’s original and will start marketing it that way.
I want to say a big thanks to John Jennings and his girl friend Shawna for letting us stay with them and for the great hospitality. John also introduced us to some really great people that all helped us out while we were there which in turn set us up with a lot more people to meet. Thanks again.
