So as some of you know I have recently been hired by Cox Communications. I just finished my first week of training and so far I love it. The job may not be something I really want to be doing but I defiantly want to work for this company. I was hired as a Customer Service Rep doing Tech support. Nothing wrong with the job, like I said so far in the training I’m thinking I’m really going to love it, but there are so many other things I would rather be doing and that I could really excel in. The department that really catches my eye is their CRTV. It is the department that handles their Community Relations as well as most of their local video production. So obviously doing video production for them is where I would like to be. But even if that doesn’t happen, there are so many other places I would love to go. I definitely see leadership in my near future.
The benefits are incredible and start the first day I started training which is HUGE! On top of that free digital cable, free high speed internet, and super cheap telephone. Plus they are talking about doing wireless by the end of the year. Can’t really say much about it, mainly cause I don’t know much, but that will be very sweet. Also, there are tons of discounts across the state of AZ. Over all I am hella stoked for getting on board with these guys. I know if my video stuff doesn’t take off I’ll have a future with Cox, and a great one at that.
