In one word, disapointment. I mean 2 huge matchups that end no where near where we wanted them to. First off, Ortiz vs Shamrock. Ortiz takes it in the first round due to the ref’s call. Shamrock was taking elbows from Ortiz and not defending himself so the ref stopped the fight. Now I was glad to see Ortiz win but not like that. I mean we are left with the unsatisfied hunger for another fight. With all the hype and all the build up, we were left hangin big time. Then there was the heavy-weight championship. This was the third match up between Sylvia and Arlovski and we were hoping for huge battle. It went five round with neither one ever hitting the floor. The judges gave it to Sylvia who remains the Heavy-weight champion. Then to top it off they don’t even show all nine fights. So like I said, an over all disapointing night. But they did announce UFC 62 with Liddell vs Sobral; so that’s something to look forward to.
All I have to say is, thank god we get pay per view for half price or heads would be rollin.

I wholeheartedly agree with your review. With the exception of the undercard, the two main fights were pathetic to say the least. I have no desire to see Tito beat the living hell out of Ken Shamrock again, there ought to be a law against beating up senior citizens with floppy breasts. I anticipated a great main event due to the outcome of the previous 2 fights, but instead I wasted 25 minutes of my life that I will never get back. Watching Sylvia and Arlovski shuffle around the ring like 2 Circus Bears trying to stay on their hind legs was pure misery. I think it would have been more entertaining if they mudwrestled since they were already topless. Just my 2 cents…
Totally man. Like I said, to top it off they didn’t even show all the fights. That just made me even more pissed off. Thanks for stoppin by.
