Finally fixed…

So I noticed about a month ago or so that my google ad-sense were not updating and not actually giving me ads but public service announcements. At first I thought this was just something that google was running for the hurricane victims or something. But then I checked my reports for the past few months and realized that I hadn’t had a click since April. So I started digging a bit and told my web host to try and look into it. I also emailed google about it. Both parties couldn’t really put their finger on it. Then I realized that google’s search engine hadn’t crawled my site since April 25th. That was a huge shock to me. So according to all the search engines I hadn’t updated my site since April. I was pissed. I emailed both parties again and still nothing came up on the top of their heads. So my web host went to work. A month goes by and the gentleman that is working on it emails me and says that he thinks he has found the problem but will let me know once it’s confirmed. Then today I do my daily check up by searching for my site on google and checking the cached page to see when it was grabbed. And it hits me; what is different about the page saved compared to my site now. The only thing I could think of were the plugins I added. So I do a search for posts that I mentioned plug ins and wouldn’t you know it the day posted about installing the plugins was on April 25th. APRIL 25TH!!!!! The last day google was able to cache my page. So obviously it was one of the plugins I added that was causing the blocks. Now it’s just a matter of figuring out which one.

You have no idea how much of a relief this is to figure out. I mean my hits have gone down big time these past few months. So hopefully people will start finding my site again and the traffic will starting coming back. But like I said, bare with me if things start coming and going; I’m still trying to figure out which one it is.
