About two months ago this chick I work with and I were talking about internet radio. I was telling her that I have this package of portable apps and it has this program called Screamer Radio. In it it has like a 100 stations in it. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Then she proceeds to tell me about what she uses. It was this site called Pandora. I had never heard of it so i checked it out. OMFG it is the shit. I cut through the BS and get right to the point. You tell it a title of a song or band and it will automatically create a station with music similar to that band or song as well as songs you have rated. It seriously kicks ass people. I should have talked about this sooner but in this weeks “Best Damn Tech Show, Period” they interviewed Tim Westergren, founder of Pandora.com and it reminded me that I hadn’t. So if you haven’t checked it out yet, you’ve got to go to Pandora.com and take it for a test drive. You will find so many bands you’ve never heard of in the genre of music you decide. Thanks Krystal.
