Flock Test

So I was turned on to this new browser called Flock, the social browser, by Drew and the crew of BDTSP. I installed it little over a month ago but haven’t really opened it up to it’s fullest potential, I know this. The first thing you notice about this browser is it has Flickr sorta built into it. There is a photo bar at the top that allows you to view anyone’s Flickr photos while you browse. Not quite sure why I want to do that, but it’s there. The cool part is you can upload right from Flock and upload more than just the usual 6 that Flickr let’s you at a time. Plus it will allow you to resize the photos on upload. Now that is kick ass. The next thing I noticed and am using right now is the ability to blog in a stand alone window no matter what page your on. Again, not sure why I would want to do this, but I thought I would give it a shot. I noticed Drew had done some posts using Flock so I figured, why not.

The only other thing I can say that I like, at this point, is that it’s built on top of FireFox, so it has all of that goodness. So be sure to go on over to Flock.com and give it a spin. Let me know what you think.

EDIT: After I was done typing this up and I hit publish I got a cool little window that gave me some options for my post. First it allows me to pick the category for the post. Second it will let me post it to multiple blogs at the same time. And third it lets me post it as either a new post or replace another one. Just thought I would add this and let everyone know. I thought that was really cool.
