Not really. Chris Brogan emailed me this earlier today and thought it was a great list of questions. Apparently Jeff Pulver is the one who started it. So I thought I would pay it forward and answer the man. Here is the list…
2006 Year End Questions
Questions:
1. Most Useful application
2. Best Web site
3. Worst Web site
4. Hottest Trend
5. Favorite Gadget
My Answers:
1. This is a tough one. Web applications are used for more than actual installed ones. I would have to say either Gmail or Google Reader for my RSS feeds. I would be lost without either one of these.
2. Not to use the 2 mentioned in #1 I’m going to say digg and popurls
3. Another tough one. I really cant say one in particular so I’ll take the easy way out and agree with Chris and say anyone that hasn’t incorporated some version of Web 2.0 or user interactivity into their site.
4. Well aside from those pesky white ear buds you see everywhere I would have to say the hottest trend right now would be to not wear underwear when wearing a skirt and let everyone take pictures of you while getting out of a car. Of course don’t be mindful of you not wearing that underwear when doing so. Wouldn’t make for a good photo opportunity.
5. My favorite gadget would have to be my Canon Powershot SD400. I love taking photos and the fact that it takes video as well makes it that much cooler. It’s an Elph so its small and I carry it on my hip much like a smart phone; so I have a camera/video camera at all times. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Thanks Chris for sending the list my way.

2007 is right around the corner. So it’s about that time for new years resolutions. The thing is I never really have any. Will I be able to stick to these?

Some dude sent me an IM with a link to this today. I have no idea who he is or how he got my screen name but here’s the story he wanted me to see.

I had read a post about this yesterday and was like “what a great idea, I want one.” Then I read this today and was like “what a crappy idea, you suck.” So not sure what the reason for this is but I’m sure it will surface very quickly.
Following yesterday’s PR debacle, a blogger who received one of Microsoft’s free “gift” laptops says Microsoft has now emailed him and requested he “emphasize that this is a _review_ PC”, sent to him to be reviewed, and should be sent back to Microsoft (or given away) when the ‘review’ is done. Has even Tony Hawk ever done a total 180 so quickly?
