When I was in San Jose for Spring VON 2007 we went to a mexican food place for dinner one night. I bought a couple of rounds of tequila for the table. So anytime tequila gets brought up now those select few think of me. Which is fine, because the next time we are out together there will be more shots. Let that be a warning to all that have not hung out with me yet. Anyways, today ms Sarah Atwood from Nontourage posted this video to my myspace and I just had to share it with you all. Funny ass shit right here; and so true on so many levels.
Not too long ago I used to go to the movies. Not only did I go to the movies but I actually saw movies the day or week they came out. After watching these movies I would come home and write a little “non critic” review of the highs and lows of the movie and basically give my opinion. Perhaps to help those who are on the fence about seeing it.
It’s been a while since I’ve gone to the movies. I saw 300 last week which was bad ass but it’s been out for a few weeks I felt that there wasn’t a need for a review. Most who want to see it have seen it. But there are those movies that I just can’t over look. Those that I must see no matter what. Grindhouse is one of these movies.
It’s been 5 whole days since it’s been out which is rare for me to wait that long for something so big. Other movies of this caliber would have been seen 3 times already at this point. But times change. My responsibilities change. I can’t just leave whenever I want to go see a movie. I went and saw Grindhouse last night and just had to share the experience with you all. However I’m not going to give a review; because really, who cares? But I will say this….
First off why is this movie so big for me? Well two of my favorite film makers made it; Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. The only other film maker I love as much as these guys would be Kevin Smith but he’s in a whole other category. Grindhouse is more than just a movie, it’s a movie experience. Each flick has their own movie trailers before them and their own little 70’s Technicolor intros. Two flicks, Planet Terror and Death Proof. Each their own entity. Planet Terror was a way funner movie and enjoyed more than the other. But Death Proof was all Tarantino which is why I “loved it” just as much as the other. Without a doubt one of the best movie experiences I’ve had in a long time. I was 1 of like 6 people in the theater and probably one of the only ones laughing my ass off. So, if you even remotely enjoy either one of these film makers movies then you have to see this one. It’s a fan boy’s wet dream. Or at least mine.

That is the question. I’ve noticed that a lot of my views during videoblogweek were quicktime and quicktime downloads. So I was wondering, which do you prefer? Should I stick to the linked thumbnail or embed the player right into the post? What is easier for you feed reader types? I just want to make viewing my videos easier for you. Let me know what you think.
It's videoblogging week 2007. Each day I will pick a word and talk about it. What does the word mean to you?
Today's word is Work.
