My Apologies

For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you may have seen a Twit I shot out today referencing an episode of Galacticast and my love for Casey McKinnon that may have come across as racial or hateful towards people of a particular religion. I in no means meant for this and am very sorry to those who may have found it offensive. I didn’t realize how bad it actually sounded until it was brought up to me. I have no hate or negative thoughts towards any human being on this planet due to their skin color, sexual preference, or religious belief. Anything that has or could come across in that way was most likely a bad joke or in this case a bad choice of words. Please accept my sincerest apologies.

Sometimes people can be too sensitive

    you’re a good man, clintus.

Don’t sweat it, man - this Jew knew what you meant. :-) Don’t lose sleep over it.

anyone that knows you knows your a great person and a goofball. it was nice of you to explain, but i’m surprised someone was so sensitive

Exactly; this Jew also knew what you meant.

Here’s a question: to those who called you out for making alleged anti-semetic statements, call out Galacticast for the same thing? Their piece took a lot longer to make than a Twitter post; making a well-crafted, effect-laden video of a giant Nazi woman stomping Jews.

And no, I don’t think Galacticast’s video was anti-semetic either.

I think the most important part is that everyone sees things differently. That has always been an issue with me really. Nothing offends me so I sometimes say things not thinking that it may offend others

thanks for your post, clint. it means a lot. obviously I know you always mean the best and you’re a great guy.

Clintus, I am exactly the same way sometimes. There are so few things that offend me. This always gets me into some kind of trouble.

When I read the twitter I didn’t think anything of it, because it came from you. Anyone who knows you, knows you are one of nicest people out there on the interwebs.

This post was not necessary, but shows what a stand up guy you are!

Hey bro, that was cool of you to explain what happened. I don’t think anybody thought you meant any harm by your comment. It’s just one of those things that needed to be pointed out — regardless of your intention, or whether it offended anybody. You still da man.

A bad turn of phrase - really bad - was all it ever was. It just needed to be taken down in case anyone outside of the circle of love Clintus read it. Imagine a prospective employer or journalist covering the vlogging scene.

And yes, people have voiced their (valid) concerns about RoboJew, and we have talked it out with them. As a result, there is one joke I regret pushing to far, but only one. I am ready to do discuss it again, with anyone in public or private forums.

Know this: RoboJew did not come from anti-sematism. RoboJew is the hero of our story. Ninja Stars of David are freaking awesome. And like the great Mel Brooks (and yes, I know I will never be as great as him) making Hitler someone to laugh at is the goal.

    Cheers
