wow that was fast.. how exactly does the sim card process work with that do you put in the old t-moble sim card or how does that work? Did you need to call tmobile to switch your plan?

How did you do that? Does it work like a regular tmobile phone would? With the service and everything??
I have a tmobile phone now, and really wasnt looking forward to paying an extra $200 to shut my plan off..

So I have a question - what type of T-Mobile plan do you have? I need to switch from Verizon, my plan expires in about 35 days, and I’d rather go T-Mobile than AT&T but I can’t tell from their site what would be the appropriate plan to sign up for… Any thoughts?

@Justine - Yeah I wanted to do something like and actually shoot footage inside each place of returning and picking up the stuff. It was too hard having the kids with me. I fail.

@Rick - Thanks for all your help man. Couldn’t and wouldn’t have done it without you.

@Deacon - Yeah I think you have to have a SIM card for it to work. Sorry man.

@Cheryl - I’ve been with T-Mobile for 4-5 years now so I have an older plan. But they have the best family plans, so I would look into those if your husband is looking to switch as well. Otherwise, depending on how much you talk, their most popular plan is 1000 minutes for $39.99. And of course they have the “My Favs” now where you can pick any 5 phone numbers and talk to them for free. Let me know if you want to switch over, I have a few friends who work for them that may be able to “help” you out.

    Hey Clintus, congrats!!!

Are you now running ‘native’ apps, too? If so, which ones?

Hmm - wonder if there is a way to hack a sim card to fool it into working on CDMA lol… I know I am trying to break the rules of different kinds of inherint soft/hardware… I can dream though lol..

Dude, who talks on phones any more?! Does it SMS and surf the web?!

Hey! Sorry, I didnt see that you replied!
Do you have the site where I can go to get to the check boxes? Thats the only part Im confused on. I have the tmobile sidekick plan. –Unlimited texting. Will it be the same on the iPhone?

So, I dont mess with an at&t plan. I just get the iPhone, and do what you told me..?
Also, Do you recieve updates from Apple on it? And, if I change my mind and want to go to At&t .. can I restore it just how I bought it?

Sorry for all the questions, but Im planning on getting the iPhone this weekend, and would love to run my current tmobile plan on it.

Thanks for replying back, I will keep checking in!!
