But it all comes down to either planning everything out so its quick and you get what you need, or if it's on the fly to just commit and get what you wanted to get. If you worry about what other people are thinking while you're shooting it you usually cut too soon or don't shoot everything you wanted to. Just commit to the shots and try to block out what is around you. I focus on the lens and try not to look away too much when I know there are people looking at me. Good luck.
