I was on set of the upcoming tv series “The Hunters” and got a chance to interview the hunters themselves. I also got to fill in as a bad guy and get blown away.

We had another meeting last week about the tv show and met a few more of the crew. The DP is awesome. He brought over the trailer to his latest feature and it kicks ass. We’re looking to start shooting the second week of November and hopefully shooting an episode every 2 weeks. I’ll keep everyone posted as more develops.
In the mean time, Daddy Russ and I have come up with another idea. It’s what I’ve been trying to do for months but have needed a little help with; an online series. We plan on shooting an episode every week for as long as we can between our hectic work schedules. We should have a name for the series and site up for it by the end of the week with the first episode shot a week from today. At least that is the idea at this point. Stay tuned….

I have finally decided which project to take on and it’s going to be the series. I have written a small description of the series and will be sending it to a writer shortly. From there I will start gathering up the props and securing locations. But I know I’m going to have to wait for final confirmations until the script is finalized. Same goes for actors. I know the basic ones I need, just not sure how many secondary I’m going to need. The hard part at this stage in the game will be getting great actors to work for credit and copy (no pay) which is always the dilemma with indie films. We shall see. For now the ball is rolling and I’m happy with that.

I am looking for a script writer I can work with. They don’t necessarily have to be in AZ, but it helps. My weakness when it comes to film making is the writing. I can think of action sequences and ideas fro movies, but that’s as far as it goes right there. I am looking to shoot both my ideas as well as there own. I’m back in AZ now and what a great trip. I met Texas Jack which is a great band and got to record a concert of theirs. Also I shot their first music video as well. I have already cut some of the concert footage and made them a promo piece. It should be online this weekend. The music video will follow the first of next week. These guys are very talented and like us just need to meet the right people. Daddy-Russ is managing them and so far has been doing a great job. As soon as I get some database issues settled I will have photos from the shoot online. Finished the movie, finished the behind the scenes movie, and am making dvds of both. It’s been a wild ride and I didn’t think it was going to be as good as it is with no pre-production. Just goes to show with a great team, anything is possible. As said before, we head to LA this weekend with 10 copies to hand out. I’ll update everyone once I get back. FINISHED!!!! I put the final touches on the sound today and am rendering it out for a test watch before the final 5 day render process begins. Once the test render is finished we’ll watch it and decide if there is anything else that needs to be done. After that I will run a few tests to insure that the final render is the best with no problems. There is no room for error. We head to LA on the 8th of January to meet with multiple distributors and multiple producers to discuss both an exit strategy for CK and future work we might have for them. The end is near people, stay tuned.
