As with most of you out there, I’m addicted to Twitter and love following your lives up to the minute. Now anything they can do to make that experience better for me, I’m all for. Their newest update gives us tracking; a way to follow words or “concepts”. I think this is the coolest addition to Twitter ever! The #1 thing I love about Twitter is the fact that you can send and receive updates from your mobile via SMS and this tool just extends that even more. You can track any word you want, even someone’s name. The updates are sent to your mobile and denotes someone you don’t follow with parentheses around their name.
It’s so easy to track and untrack things too. Just send ‘track’ and the word you want to track to Twitter’s mobile number 40404. You’ll receive an update stating you’re now tracking that word. To stop tracking it simply send ‘untrack’ and the word you wish to stop getting updates on. Want to find out everything you’re currently tracking? Send ‘track’ alone to find out.
I’m already tracking a bunch of words and am finding a lot of new friends to follow. Thank you Twitter team for making Twitter that much better, for me.

Check out Steve Garfield’s video on how he shot, edited, and played his video all with the Nokia N95. This just goes to show that technology is a beautiful thing and great things are to come. You can check out Steve Garfield’s video blog at SteveGarfield.com.
In this video, I’m watching video on a Nokia N95 via a cable connection to my TV. The video I'm watching was filmed and edited on the N95, uploaded to my video blog, and then downloaded back to the N95 using the Nokia Video Centre via the RSS 2.0 with enclosures feed from my video blog. This is a glimpse into the future of creation and consumption of Internet TV. This video has been entered in Network2.tv’s How do YOU watch Internet TV contest.

LG has announced a HD-DVD/Blu-Ray combo drive for computers, reports Engadget. However, while it is capable of reading both HD formats, it will only be able to write to Blu-Ray discs. It’s due to be released at the end of January, but unfortunately the $1200 price tag won’t mean you get to pick one up anytime soon.
