Finally made it to the Arrowhead Apple store and of course I had to make a video while I was there. If you don’t know Justine travels quite a bit and always manages to find an Apple store in any city she’s in. While she’s there she makes a quick video and has dubbed this series her “Apple Store Tour 2008″.

Well as most of the tech world knows, Mac has been doing some talking, and some presenting, and some unveiling. All sorts of crazy, super cool stuff has been announced and it seems a whole lot of you are going ape shit over it. I’ll admit apple has there shit together and it seems like they can’t do wrong. I plan on getting my first mac this year and look forward to joining the dark side.

So I’m in a training class this week learning High Speed Internet Technical Support and obviously there are going to be people out there that have all kinds of operating systems. One of them obviously being Mac OS. Today was Mac day. They have two brand spanking new iMacs which to be honest are pretty fraking sweet. I don’t use a Mac, not really around anyone who does, and haven’t used one in about 6 years. So when I pull up to this thing I was pretty impressed. First thoughts, it’s just a thick LCD panel; that’s it. They took the iMac which used to look like a 17 inch tv that came straight out of Candy Land and slammed it into a 2 inch display; kick ass. Now I’ve seen Mac OS X before and “played” with it but l was still amazed.
Now I wouldn’t mind owning a MacBook, but it raises lots of questions, mostly illegal ones, but I am due for a new laptop. When the time comes I’ll look a bit deeper into the dark side. Perhaps find someone who owns one and do some of my daily activities with it. For now I’ll stick with my virus prone, spreadsheet murderin, suit and tie PC.
